Welcome Jorge Pimental, the first permanent full-time hire at Newton-Wellesley Hospital

Jorge joined the NWH Biomed team on January 11th. Jorge is a Biomedical Equipment Technician who recently graduated from the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. He worked at MGH as a Biomedical Equipment Technician intern where, among other activities, he contributed to the infusion pump inspections during the first COVID surge in the spring of

Congratulations to Jared Ruckman, the department’s first Clinical Systems Engineering Manager!

Jared joined the department in 2011 as a Clinical Engineer after completing his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering through the Clinical Engineering Program at the University of Connecticut. His passion and abilities in the area of clinical IT systems, as well as his skills at navigating the IS organization, building relationships with its many divisions
