Interventional Pulmonary Provation Go-Live

Biomedical Engineering Change Notification

Date: 6/15/21
Project Lead: Jake Nazarian
Area(s) Affected: Bigelow 9, ORs, Inpatient Units
Device/System: Provation

Change Description:
Interventional Pulmonary went live with an implementation of Provation this morning to enable image capture on their scoping towers. These scoping towers live on their Bigelow 9 unit but can travel to the OR and to inpatient units for bedside scoping procedures. The hardware configuration on the Pulmonary carts is the same as the most basic Endo rooms (such as rooms 2-4 on Blake 4). Pulmonary does not have Provation interfaces with EPIC. They export notes as PDFs to a network share and manually upload them to EPIC records. If you receive any calls from Pulmonary or from Endoscopy (about potential Provation configuration changes), please contact Jake Nazarian.
